This video was originally released by TED talks, but then withdrawn for being too “radical” and “far-removed from mainstream scientific thinking”. In other words, TED does not support thinking out of the box or only to a limited extend. They seem to forget that humanity made it’s major scientific and general progress, precisely, in fact unavoidably, thanks to thinking out of the box and ‘radically far-removed’ from mainstream science and views.
Almost all great breakthroughs were strongly opposed when first suggested, like the earth being a globe instead of flat, the helio-centric system, the meteorite impact causing the extinction of the dinosaurs or the planetarian collision that formed our moon to name a few.
